By car:
Located under 3 hours south-west of Paris (307 km) by road, between TOURS and POITIERS, in Centre val-de-Loire; 30 mins from A10, (Exit 25) Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine [direction of Bordeaux], take the D59 to Ligueil, then the D50 to LA CELLE-GUENAND. (An easy drive from Calais via Rouen, Le Mans, and Tours on the A28 to the A10 in 5hrs 45mins).
By train:
TGV trains from PARIS (Gare Montparnasse) in less than an hour to TOURS (St-Pierre-des-Corps). LA CELLE-GUENAND is just an hour south of TOURS by road. Alternatively you can take a different TGV from Montparnasse to CHATELLERAULT just 30 mins away by car.
We'd certainly recommend hiring a car to get here, partly for ease and mainly so you have the freedom to explore the Loire Valley.

By plane:
TOURS international airport by road is less than one hour.
POITIERS international airport by road is about an hour. You'll need to hire a car before you fly. They rarely have cars on arrival. (Both airports are RyanAir destinations - book rental car in advance).
By cross-channel ferry:
DOVER-CALAIS (then approx 5 hours 45 mins car journey)
PORTSMOUTH-CAEN (then approx 3 hours 35 mins car journey)
